Be warned Stay well clear of this company, they make it up as they go along.Got them to install a bathroom, which turned out to be a wet room instead, due to the fact I was very unwell and needed my wife to help me wash. They turned up to check the job and started damaging the tiles before they were given the job.I was left with no alternative other than to let them do it considering the damage started. When they had finished I was told to wait a couple of days before using the shower in order that the tiles would be dry (and giving them time to cash the cheque).On turning the shower on the water ran out of the bathroom and flooded part of the living room. Groves didn't want to know, and even charged me more than the original quote. They handed me a so called receipt stating just the price on a piece of scrap paper nothing else written on it.To cut a Long story short I ended up bringing strade descriptions to investigate and another company to fix the mess JR Groves of Newtownards created, they couldn't believe how much Groves charged me.Because of my review Groves got personal against my wife and I and claimed I sold illegal videos and was a cowboy customer, just to destroy my reputation. My wife and I are in our late 60s and the reason Groves was asked to install a bathroom was because of their glossy website and fancy photos. I am disabled and had just come out of hospital at the time (being treated for cancer among other things). Groves new of this as they were dealing with my wife. So for them to go this low only confirms my earlier comments regarding the type of company you are dealing with. Don' be fooled by wonderful comments on reviews as many companies add them themselves, and get family and friends to make them look better. A good company would address comments in a more professional manner, however I must have hit a nerve to make them so angry......good.STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY, " THEY " ARE THE COWBOYS FROM NEWTOWNARDS.
I can honestly say if you want a job well done to the highest standard go to JR Groves. Not 1 but 2 bathrooms where converted into 2 beautiful wet rooms. Ross and his team where prompt, tidy and and his attention to detail and workmanship was 1st class. An absolute pleasure to work with and i would not hesitate to recommend for any other job.
Top Job Done. Had a recent bathroom refurbishment carried out. I saw the work that they have done through Facebook, and gave them a chance. The job that they carried out was stunning 10 out 10. I was very happy with the quote that i was given, the work was brilliant very clean and tidy workers and had my bathroom transformed in a couple of days. Keep up the good work Many Thanks Tom.
Got a new shower room installed in September. Our old bathroom was well passed a makeover so after seeing Ross's work on Facebook I decided to give him a call.we were shown examples from file of jobs he had done in houses the same design as my own, so it was really easy to imagine what ours would be like when done.The work took 4 days from start to finish and each night when the lads went home the whole house was cleaned and hoovered, you wouldn,t even know they had been in the house.The finished job was amazing and turned a small bathroom into a roomy shower room. We are absolutely over the moon with the job and couldn't be happier.I would recommend JR Groves to anyone who wants a quality bathroom design and installation. They are not the cheapest to be fair but quality never is and you do get what you pay for and when you see their standards you will understand.

Unfortunately for us they do existOne only has to view our portfolio and read comments on Facebook to see the quality of our work. Reading his comments dont even make sense. How could we possibly start a job without having been given the job. How could we even be in his house. Complete and utter nonsense from a man who has little to do.
