Great place for glasses staff very helpful and friendly
This is my optician and I have no need to look anywhere else. Staff are friendly helpful. In my lastest visit they where very supportive and gave me guidance and reassurance. Its always clean and tidy with a good range of specs to choose from. Very accesible from the street and easy to find.

totally shocking experience today!! even know i explained fully that i required 1 contact lens for 3 hours and i was willing to pay the whole amount of 75p they straight up refused. i normally where glasses but i had left them at a friends house and need contacts for the day. one of them i lost while at work. all i needed was one for 3 hours to get me though work. i work for a car dealership and need to be able to drive. the optometrist said know and thinks its safer for me to drive with one eye for the rest of the day. yes i am aware and offered to book in for fresh contact lens check if they would do this for me. the fact you unhelpful staff and ignorant optometrist said no i will never cross your doors again. 15 years a customer!!! never again disgusting treatment and totally unacceptable. id give you no starts if i could!!!!!!
Arrived at Newtownards store for an appointment made by phone for 3.45pm the exact time given for myself and my husband for eye tests and to choose new glasses. Only to be advised that my appointment was at 3.30pm and that they were unable to take either of us. I am in a wheelchair and it is not easy for me to get out for an appointment like this. (I have previously used their home visits which were excellant.) I didn't get the time wrong the mistake was at their end. It was very disappointing that even with the 15 minutes difference they were unable to accommodate us. We have used specsavers for many years and spent a lot of money with them never choosing their bargain priced glasses but we will not use them in future.
