Not happy with this garage. Brought in my E46s to get new brakes, cooling system leak test and knocking from transmission fixed. They replaced the brakes and discs no problem. They claim to have pressure tested the cooling system with no leaks found. I bought my own pressure tester as I was still losing coolant and immediately found a leak under the radiator after removing the drip tray. It would seem that removing the drip tray was too much hassle for this garage as they would have found the leak straight away. I found it in minutes with basic tools in my driveway. They diagnosed the knocking in the transmission as diff slap nothing could be done about it and nothing to worry about. Again, on further inspection, I removed exhaust and heat shield and straight away found a worn support bush on the driveshaft and a worn flex joint which the garage failed to spot, probably because they wouldnt take the hassle to remove the exhaust and heat shield to inspect the area even though I paid them to diagnose the knocking. Seems like it was easier to tell me not to worry about it and drive the car regardless with an annoying knock. All in all cost me over 400 for new discs and pads and two incorrect diagnoses which ended up costing me even more money to buy the tools to diagnose myself. I should have just done the work myself from the beginning and saved myself 400.
