Another favourite place for a cup of coffee. Knotts bakery such variety for anything from breakfast lunch and afternoon tea. Recommend to anyone.
I visited Knott's yesterday and was impressed with with the choice of food , but was very disappointed with the service. Apart from there being no interaction with customers, I noticed that there was something spilled on the scone I had selected, so I said to the guy at the till, expecting him to change it, but he just said that it was just treacle out of the scone, which was absolute rubbish. When I sat down I still wasn't happy, so I said to the lady clearing the tables and she changed it immediately. The scone was nice but hadn't a lot of flavour. The cakes looked lovely. I would return for the food, but certainly not the service, sorry, lack of service.
Great bakery with friendly safe and a great cafe as well. Well worth a visit. I would recommend the Irish stew, you get a good portion for a reasonable price. The rhubarb pie is the nicest I've had. Always busy but the service is quick and friendly.
Mum and I go here every Saturday for lunch. Absolutely faultless food and service. Staff are all extremely helpful and polite. Love this place.. good clean, wholesome food.
A fabulous restaurant/bakery.You can enjoy a filling breakfast or a great lunch.And of course being a bakery, you can have a lovely apple pie or whatever takes your fancy.The staff are very proud of the restaurant and you get professional service with a smile On the down side, the toilet facilities are out of reach for anyone with a disability, as there is a staircase to negotiate unfortunately.But all in all I would have no problem recommending this lovely restaurant.
