Absolutely delicious bread. It's reminds me of bakeries you would find on the continent. Working my way through their selection, so far I've had the garlic and cheese bread, olive loaf, baguette and the fruit loaf...all 5 star. Glad a place like this exists in Comber!

We saw Bara Bakehouse on Instagram and could not resit the temptation to try these stunning looking breads. Normally on a Saturday they are sold out by noon, so get in early.The Olive and Herb is absolutely incredible! The Cheese and Garlic is also really good - the Cheese flavour is perfect, not enough garlic comes through for my preference.The fruit loaf is a total winner for our house!Add the Bara Bakehouse to your next visit through Comber!
Having a confirmed gluten sensitivity bread became a bit of an enemy. I first tried the sourdough as it is more tolerated and wanted more. I spoke to Joe who said all his bread was made from such good ingredients and made in the traditional way so I might be Ok. So I had to try and am so happy I did. The bread is delicious and no nasty side effects! There is nothing like great fresh artisan bread and that is what you get from Bara Bakehouse.
I have had gluten intolerance issues for many years. However I have found the white tin loaf at Bara Bakehouse has been the only bread I can eat without any problems! So glad I found this place. Would highly recommend.
